Host Caroline unveiled that the £50,000 prize fund wasn’t just theirs to take away then and there.

Caroline revealed two sealed envelopes, explaining that one had £0 inside and the other the full £50,000.

Greg and Amber then each had to select an envelope, with Amber ending up with £0 and Greg the £50,000 prize.

Caroline put Greg to the test as he was asked if he was on the show for love or just for the cash: He could either keep the £50,000 for himself or share it half and half with Amber.

“This is the moment we find out if you’re here for love or money,” Caroline said.

“Of course I’m going to share it with her” said Greg without hesitation.

As a result, Amber and Greg each left the villa with £25,000.

Meanwhile, Love Island isn’t quite over for this year.

The Love Island 2019 reunion show airs on Sunday, August 4 from 9PM.

Caroline Flack will be joined by all the islanders from across the series as we get all the gossip from the Isle of Love and find out if love is still blooming outside of the villa.

ITV2 say the reunion episode will relive all our favourites moments from the series, and this is one hot party you won’t want to miss!
