Love Island 2019: Anna Vakili reveals she almost quit twice

Anna Vakili has admitted she wanted to walk from the Love Island 2019 villa twice during her stay.

Anna was one of FOUR islanders dumped in yesterday's Love Island results as two couples were sent packing.

Following a viewer vote, Anna & Jordan Hames plus Harley Brash & Chris Taylor left the villa.

Speaking after her exit this week, Anna confessed she had almost quit twice before being eliminated.

"The first time was the public vote, because I felt if the public don't like me or want to watch me, why am I there? At that point I felt like I was in such a strong place, it makes me laugh now," Anna recalled to DigitalSpy.

She explained: "I thought I was in such a strong relationship that I could continue it on the outside and not in front of the cameras, because I felt like nobody wants to watch me, but I was being silly really.

"Emotions were high at that time, and then I realised what's more important was that my friends and fellow islanders inside see what I'm about and they want me to stay, and I'm going to continue. Because they know the real me, the public don't see the full me."

Anna shared she also wanted to leave after her massive row with Jordan which played out this week.

"I almost literally took my mic off and walked out. I would've walked out if it wasn't for everybody around me and talking to me," she said.

As for her thoughts on Jordan now, Anna commented: "I’m so disappointed in him and I’m hurt by him. I’m shocked. I don’t have anger towards him, if anything I feel sorry for him."

Meanwhile, Jordan has had his say and insisted he has "no regrets" about his time on the show.

"I don’t feel like I made any mistakes," Jordan insisted. "Before I went into the villa, Anna was one of the girls I had my eye on and we hit it off straight away. We had our little blip with Casa Amor.

"When the new girls came in, I felt like I didn’t have anything as good with those girls as what me and Anna did, so I stayed true to myself.

"When India came in, it did surprise me a bit so I voiced my opinion. I didn’t go about it in the right way but everything I’ve done has been because of what I’ve been feeling. No regrets whatsoever."

Love Island 2019 continues nightly on ITV2.

The final airs on Monday, July 29.
