Jack has been coupled up with Dani Dyer on the ITV2 dating show since it began almost four weeks ago.

However, he’s about to get a huge shock when the next twist hits the villa tomorrow.

Bosses have confirmed that not one, not two, but twelve new ‘bombshell’ islanders are touching down in Majorca.

And one of them is a familiar face: Jack’s former flame, Ellie Jones.

Love Island

Ahead of her arrival on Love Island, Ellie has spilled the beans on her history with the pen salesman.

“We met in August 2016 and dated on and off for a while. We’ve always spoken because we got on so well,” she explained.

“We weren’t in an official relationship but we spoke about it. Would go on dates and kept trying to make it work, but it wouldn’t. I met his brother and mates.”

Although Ellie’s still pals with Jack, she had absolutely no prior knowledge he’d be joining the smash hit reality show.

“I actually spoke to him as a friend about two days before he went into the villa and had no idea he was going on the show!” she exclaimed.

Now it’s Ellie’s turn to make a splash on Love Island – but it seems Dani doesn’t have to worry.

While the 22-year-old office administrator reckons there’s still a spark between her and Jack, she isn’t intent on rekindling her romance with him.

In fact, she’s rather nervous about their looming telly reunion.

“Going into the villa, I don’t know how Jack is going to react, and that’s my biggest worry,” she said.

“I don’t know if he’ll be angry or shocked, but we do get on so hopefully it won’t be an issue.

“When I look at him, I do still think there is something there but I would never go back there.”

Ellie and her fellow newbies will make their first Love Island appearances in tomorrow night’s episode, at 9.15pm on ITV2.

Further details about their entry are yet to be revealed – but rumours suggest Casa Amor is about to make a comeback.
