Two Islanders have been dropped from Love Island 2018 in tonight’s results – but who left?

Just when you thought life in the Love Island villa couldn’t get any more high octane, this evening’s show saw Caroline Flack drop in with the biggest bombshell yet.

Calling into the villa by complete surprise as the Islanders enjoy an evening together, Caroline had a dramatic announcement.

She told them: “Hi Islanders, come and gather around the fire pit. I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’m here. I have some very important news. The public have been voting for their favourite couple.”

Caroline then announced the three couples with the fewest votes as Megan & Eyal, Alex & Ellie, Zara & Adam.

A twist was then dropped as Caroline revealed that the girls would decide one of the three boys to go while the boys would pick one girl to leave.

And it all ended with Eyal and Zara being eliminated from the show as they became the unlucky ones who left Love Island in tonight’s results.

The couples that faced the vote were, following Friday’s recoupling:

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham (no change)

Laura Anderson and Wes Nelson (no change)

Georgia Steel and Josh Denzel (no change)

Megan Barton Hanson and Eyal Booker (no change)

Adam Collard and Zara McDermott (Adam was previously with Rosie)

Alex George and Ellie Brown. (Alex was previously with Samira)

Sam Bird and Samira Mighty. (Samira was previously with Alex)

Although they remain the official pairings, since the recoupling there has been a lot of changes.

Ellie and Alex have called it quits with her moving onto Eyal.

Eyal himself was dropped by Megan, who moved on to Wes, who dumped Laura, leading to a MAJOR row in last night’s show.

Love Island 2018 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
