Love Island 2017 reunion show confirmed for this Sunday night

Love Island 2017 will host a reunion show this Sunday night, it's been confirmed.

Host Caroline Flack made the announcement at the end of Sunday's last Aftersun spin-off show, ahead of the live final on Monday evening.

The reunion show will air this Sunday and see all of this year's contestants, including the eventual winners, reunite.

It was Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies who won Love Island 2017 last night in the live final on ITV2.

Rivals Jamie and Camilla were runners up, Olivia and Chris finished in third and Gabby and Marcel ended the series in 4th place.

As well as the reunion show, plans are already afoot to keep track of the Islanders long term once they leave the villa.

According to The Sun newspaper, talks are ongoing for a spin-off follow up show to air later this year to see which couples are still together and who's been dumped.

A source explained: “Each of the couples have already been pushed to the limits in a very false environment and once they’re back home, they will have more time to themselves away from the camera.

“There are already discussions behind the scenes as to doing a follow-up series later this year where viewers can see if islanders have stayed together at home – and whether they’re following in the footsteps of last year’s couples like Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen.

“It’s a no brainer for Love Island bosses to do a follow-up as the show has been a runaway success and everyone’s desperate to see more of their favourite couples.”

There's also been talk of a potential live stage tour, featuring some of the contestants as well as narrator Iain Stirling.

Love Island will return to ITV2 in 2018.
