The Voice UK 2019 contestants: See the semi-finalists in the live shows

Who's in the The Voice UK 2019 live shows? Here are all the contestants in the semi-finals.

Earlier this year saw the four coaches build their four teams with Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, and Jennifer Hudson each picking ten talented artists in the blind auditions.

The battles then took place as the coaches cut their teams in half with a series of head to head musical duets that only one act could win.

However the steals were back, giving each coach the ability to pick up an extra acts that their rivals sent home, pinching them for their own teams in the knockouts.

In the knockouts, each coach could pick just two acts to take through to the start of the live shows next weekend.

Each contestant had one song to persuade their mentor to pick them for the penultimate round of the competition.

Those in the live shows for Team Tom are 23-year-old from Liverpool Deana Walmsley, who first auditioned with ‘Back to Black’ by Amy Winehouse. Joining her is Cedric Neal, a 43-year-old Musical Theatre actor from Brighton who auditioned with Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder.

On Team Will are Nxt Gen, a trio made up of Cian, Sonny and Joel, all aged 21 who first impressed with a Justin Timberlake cover. Alongside them is Emmanuel Smith, a 29-year-old part time motivational speaker from London. His original blind audition song was Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.

Making up Team JHUD for the live shows are 27-year-old singer-songwriter Moya from Jersey. Her original blind audition song was ‘Grace’ by Rag’n’Bone Man. Joining Moya on team JHUD is 24-year-old Nicole Dennis from North London, currently appearing in Waitress in the West End, who auditioned with Never Enough by Loren Allred.

Finally, on Team Olly, are Jimmy Balito, a 23-year-old singer from Sussex who first performed ‘Higher Love’ by Steve Winwood at the blind auditions. Olly also chose 17-year-old Molly Hocking from St Ives in Cornwall for his team. She first auditioned with You Take My Breath Away by Eva Cassidy.

The original eight semi-finalists will be joined by a wild card Bethzienna Williams, a 28-year-old musician from Barry. She was voted through by the public from the contestants eliminated at the knockouts.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday on ITV with the first live show of the series.
