Yesterday all twelve celebs were united for the first time as the camp divide ended and the outlaws were finally freed from the Jailhouse.

Having won a full house in the Bushtucker Trial, the group returned to main camp, were they noticed two big differences.

Bosses had installed a plush red throne between the logs, and erected an open cabin complete with two luxury beds.

“Oooh there’s been a renovation, which makes me think things will change around here,” remarked Jacqueline Jossa.

The EastEnders actor was right, as the celebs soon found out one of them would get a taste of power.

Each of them had to visit the Bush Telegraph to cast their ballot in the first jungle election of the series, with the winner becoming camp leader.

Roman Kemp eventually revealed that, having received five votes, James Haskell had earned the top position.

“Thank you, that’s very kind of you all,” he reacted amid applause.

“You better be good or we’re going to fire you,” joked Caitlyn Jenner.

“Don’t start with me, you won’t win,” smirked James.

The rugby player’s first duty was to name his deputy leader, handing the role to Jacqueline.

Together, they had to allocated all of the chores to the rest of the campmates – although the quickly realised they wouldn’t win with one person.

“The thing is with Ian, whatever chore we end up giving him he’d find something about it to moan,” Jacqueline claimed.

James soon announced the new roles, informing everyone about Jacqueline’s position.

“Our romance is over, you picked someone else,” joked Caitlyn.

“No, no, the leader always has time for all the women in his life, don’t worry about that,” responded James.

Having excelled with the cooking so far, Myles Stephenson was named a chef, with Nadine Coyle as his assistant.

Caitlyn and Andrew Maxwell were given washing up duties, while Roman and Andy Whyment were put on maintenance.

Kate Garraway and Adele Roberts were tasked with operating the gas pump that powers the camp’s new stove.

This left the other cleaning duties for Ian and Cliff Parisi.

Despite Jacqueline’s earlier prediction, the footballer seemed fairly pleased with his new job.

“James is perfect to be a leader, when you look at the chores, they suit everybody. I know a leader when I see one,” he commented.
