Singer Nadine rose to fame in the girl group who were put together in Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002.

The five piece – made up of Nadine, Cheryl, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts – went on to achieve a number of hit songs and albums.

They broke up in 2013 and Nadine has admitted they’ve not kept in touch.

Ahead of taking part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity on ITV, Nadine revealed this week: “I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter.

“So that’s about six years ago. Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long.”

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Nadine went on to confess her fears about the jungle.

She explained: “I have had that chat with Medic Bob and it’s not enough to just tell you, they have pictures they actually show you of these beasts…and I wish he hadn’t done, if I’m honest.

“There was snakes, spiders and a safety briefing of what you do if a snake comes into camp, so that was like ‘oh my god, do you mean there’s real snakes all over camp, not just pet snakes, like ones that are kept at home and they’re lovely and friendly?’ So yeah it’s pretty real.”

Alongside Nadine, those on the I’m A Celebrity cast include Ex footballer and TV pundit Ian Wright MBE, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson and Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts.

They’re joined by comedian Andrew Maxwell, soap star Jacqueline Jossa, Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp and Olympian and reality personality Caitlyn Jenner.

Completing the line up are Ex England rugby player James Haskell and TV and radio presenter Kate Garraway.
