Now the vote-offs have begun on the ITV jungle show, it's up to the campmates to decide who will compete for food each day.
Sair, Fleur East and Malique Thompson-Dwyer all expressed interest in facing a Trial, with Fleur noting that she hadn't had the chance to earn meal stars yet.
The older celebs were happy to let them take the lead, with John Barrowman commenting: "We’ve tried to be diplomatic in deciding who does it.
"So far it’s all the young ones who want to do it. The older group are like, 'OK, no problem'!"
The candidates drew straws, and Sair got the short one, meaning she was soon off to meet hosts Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby.
They explained that she would be sealed in the Sickening Sewer and have to search the dark and cramped pipes within to find nine hidden stars.
Each was worth one meal for the celebs, except the last one, which was worth two.
Sair found the first star in a pipe occupied by fifty cane toads, and the second among cockroaches, crickets and mealworms.
Commenting on how "hot" the sewer was, she moved to the third pipe, which she thought contained lizards.
"Actually they’re water dragons, dragons that live in water… and tunnels," smirked Dec.
Holly winced at the fourth pipe, where huntsman spiders were lurking. "This is the one I wouldn’t be able to do," she said.
Sair encountered 20 mud crabs in pipe five, and a crocodile in pipe six.
"Be careful as you move as you also have 200 rats in the tunnel with you," Dec reminded her.
In the next pipe, the Coronation Street actress crawled along and dropped in to a water tank, managing to grab the star before it filled up.
She got doused in cockroaches while unscrewing the eighth star, before reaching the final pipe.
Here, she was told to yank the two-meal star with both hands . Doing so released a torrent of water that washed her out of the sewer into a smelly pond.
Sair emerged from the pond triumphant, having won all ten meals for her campmates.
"That was so scary. The worst one was the water as I have a massive fear of drowning. I started bricking it," she explained.
"I did it, I can’t believe it, it’s a massive personal achievement."
The group cheered as she returned to camp. "Thrilled for her and thrilled I get to eat tonight, I haven’t had a dinner in days!" grinned Emily Atack.
