Current Queen of the Jungle Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo won't return to I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to crown its 2018 winner, reports suggest.
Recent series of the ITV jungle show have ended with the reigning champion making a special guest appearance at the coronation of their successor.
However, it seems that won't be the case this year, as Toff isn't attending the upcoming finale.
According to the Daily Mail, the Made In Chelsea star is due to travel to Australia this week to join the celebrity panel on I'm A Celebrity's ITV2 spin-off Extra Camp.
She will fly back to the UK a few days later, meaning she won't be present at the end of the series.
"There's still about another week of the show left, after she returns," a mole said. "There aren't plans for her to go back again."
An I'm A Celebrity source insisted that it isn't a "tradition" for previous winners to hand over their crown.
They told the publication that it has only happened over the last few years as the outgoing champs' visits to Extra Camp coincided with the series finals.
"Since the show began in 2002, it's never been part of the main show to have the previous winner specifically come back to Australia and hand over to new King/Queen," the insider commented.
"It only happened the past two years because Scarlett Moffatt and Vicky Pattison were there as ITV2 presenters.
"And it only happened the two years previous to that because Carl Fogerty and Charlie Brooks were there as ITV2 guests."
The last winner not to make a return appearance was Dougie Poynter, who was absent from Brooks' inauguration in 2012.
There is still just under two weeks to go until the conclusion of I'm A Celebrity 2018.
Harry Redknapp, Nick Knowles and Emily Atack are the bookies' current favourites to win.
The show continues nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, with Extra Camp immediately afterwards on ITV2.
