The first ten official I’m A Celebrity 2018 contestants were confirmed by ITV on Monday.

They include EastEnders actor Rita Simons, TV presenter Nick Knowles, The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, X Factor’s Fleur East and actor John Barrowman.

Joining them are The Vamps singer James McVey, The Chase’s ‘The Governess’ Anne Hegerty, Football manager Harry Redknapp, Coronation Street’s Sair Khan and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

However at least two further names are expected to join them shortly after launch night.

And according to The Sun newspaper, TV presenter Noel will be one of them after signing a reported £500,000 deal.

“Producers are talking about Noel as one of their best signings ever,” a source shared to the tabloid. “Bosses think he’ll have loads of stories to tell and will be a great talker around the campfire.

“They’ve been desperately trying to keep him under wraps as he’s the cherry on the top of the series for them.”

According to the tabloid, Noel is set to scoop a whopping £600,000 fee for taking part in the show.

More rumoured celebrities contestants who could join the current confirmed cast include reality star Megan McKenna, Holby City actress Rosie Marcel and Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here begins this Sunday night on November 18 on ITV with hosts Dec and – for this year – Holly Willoughby.

Holly is standing in for Ant and said: “I’m just looking after it until [Ant] gets back. It’s lovely that he trusted me with it. It is scary. I’ve always loved the show as a viewer and that comes with a responsibility. I want to go in and the audience to really enjoy it.”

As always, the show will air each night on ITV at 9PM for around three weeks.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Moffatt, Joe Swash and Joel Dommett will host a new look Extra Camp spin-off on ITV2, also airing each night straight after the main show.
