I’m A Celebrity 2017 campmates dunked in dirty water for first Dingo Dollar Challenge

Dennis Wise's 'flick' helps the hungry celebs win biscuits

Dennis Wise, Jennie McAlpine and Rebekah Vardy won biscuits for the hungry I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates in the first Dingo Dollar Challenge of the series.

All the celebs had for dinner yesterday were meagre portions of rice and beans thanks to Amir Khan, who ended up quitting the first Bushtucker Trial.

Therefore, the pressure was on for Becky, Dennis and Jennie when they got the chance to win an extra treat in the first Dingo Dollar Challenge.

They soon arrived at a pool of grubby, freezing water, with two chairs perched above it.

At the side was a roulette wheel, with one section coloured in red and marked with the word ‘win’.

Two players sat in the chairs, while the other spun the wheel. If it landed on ‘win’, one of three lights would turn on – but if not, the seated celebs would be dunked in the water.

“It’s kind of pot luck spinning a wheel, isn’t it?” questioned Jennie. “I think its called a mug’s game!”

With the help of the ‘Dennis flick’, the soaking trio eventually illuminated all of the lights and got hold of the Dingo Dollars.

Next they visited the Outback Shack, where I’m A Celebrity favourite Kiosk Keith offered them tea or biscuits.

They chose to purchase the biscuits, but there was one final hurdle before they could claim the reward.

Keith called the other celebs back at Croc Creek to ask them a teaser question: “What percentage of British people would rather have a cup of tea and a biscuit than go out on a date – 83% or 67%?”

“Us British do love tea,” observed Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.

Fortunately, they submitted the correct answer of 83%, meaning Becky, Dennis and Jennie were able to return to camp triumphantly with the biscuits in tow.

I’m A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV.
