And Ant says he is “feeling great” after attending rehab earlier this year.

There had been suggestions that Ant would not host the 2017 series, which is starting slightly later than usual, but we can now put those rumours to bed.

“I’m excited to be back, I can’t wait,” he told The Sun newspaper from Down Under. “It’s going to be a good show. I’m feeling great.

“The flight was all right, I had a lot of sleep and me and Dec had a good catch-up.”

Ant promised a few “twists” to the show and added: “It’s brilliant to be back together, it’s perfect. Everything just slotted back into place. We can’t wait and we’re raring to go. We are really excited.”

Meanwhile, ITV today officially confirmed the new line up of celebrities on I’m A Celeb.
