Big Brother viewers given power to make huge change to the series

Celebrity Big Brother 2017

Big Brother has given us viewers the power to make a huge change to the current series.

In a new poll on the BBUK app and official website, fans can decide to switch up the eviction format for the rest of the series.

Big Brother is giving the option to change the classic 'Vote To Evict' format in favour of 'Vote To Save', typically used in the Celebrity Big Brother series.

Big Brother asks: "Once again the power is in your hands. What do YOU want, Vote to EVICT or Vote to SAVE?

"Your choice will affect this week's first eviction vote and remain in place for public votes for the rest of the series. The poll closes on Wednesday 17th October at midday. #YouDecide"

"You can literally change the game," added Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark-Neal.

You can vote via the BBUK app on mobile or online for free HERE.

The news has split fans with some glad at the prospect of being able to vote to keep more controversial characters in.

On the other hand, others have been left unhappy at the format potentially changing halfway through the series.

As things stand, Lewis Flanagan, Hussain Ahmed, Isabella Farnese and Tomasz Wania are up for eviction this week.

Housemates nominated on Sunday as normal, except for Hussain Ahmed, who won the power of a killer nomination in Big Brother's Big Coin auction. Hussain nominated Lewis, who is guaranteed to face the vote.

In the usual nominations, Hussain received 5 votes and Tomasz received three votes from their fellow housemates. They both currently join killer nominated Lewis in facing Friday's eviction.

Lastly, Isabella was secretly nominated by viewers in the weekly online vote, completing the current nominations line up.

However Hussain, Isabella and Tomasz together with richest housemate Cameron Cole, Zoe Jones and Brooke Berry (chosen by Cameron) will get the chance to save one of the nominated housemates in the weekly game changer task.

Big Brother 2018 airs nightly Sunday-Fridays at 10PM. The latest eviction airs Friday with host Emma Willis.
