Big Brother 2018 contestant Ellis Hillon was ejected from the house on her BIRTHDAY, it's been revealed.
20-year-old Ellis Hillon was kicked off the show by show bosses on Saturday after old Twitter posts resurfaced.
Big Brother bosses announced at the weekend: "As a result of our investigation into offensive and unacceptable posts on social media, Ellis Hillon has been removed from the Big Brother House."
The messages sent from a now deleted account allegedly linked to Ellis included use of the 'N Word' and Tweets about the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Ellis' exit played out in tonight's show, as she was given the boot on her 20th birthday.
In this evening's first highlights episode, Big Brother called Ellis to the Diary Room.
"Big Brother needs to speak to you about something that has come to light since you entered," Big Brother said.
Big Brother continued: "Big Brother has been made aware of social media postings that contain offensive language."
BB asked her to read a laminate containing the alleged postings, and asked: "Can you tell Big Brother if you wrote these and posted them on your social media?"
"Yeah but years ago," sighed Ellis.
Big Brother stated: "Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language and will be removing you from the house immediately."
"For f**k's sake," reacted Ellis.
Her other housemates were then told of Ellis' removal - but not the reasons - as they were told to pack up her belongings and return them to the storeroom.
Lasting less than 24 hours in the house, Ellis set a record for Big Brother's shortest stay ever.
Despite lasting just a day, Ellis made quite the impact in the first highlights show.
She immediately clicked with Lewis Gregory, with the pair seen dancing and flirting on the first night.
Speaking before Friday night's launch show, Ellis said before entering: "I have always been a fan of the show. When I was watching Celebrity Big Brother in January with my friend, and I said I would really love to be there, my friend was like, ‘Why don’t you apply?’ And I was like, ‘No, I will never get on it,’ and she was like, ‘Go on.’ "
Big Brother 2018 airs Sunday-Friday nightly on Channel 5 at 10PM.
