The outrage surrounding Roxanne Pallett's actions on Celebrity Big Brother show no signs of slowing down.
Roxanne left the house on Friday night in the wake of controversial claims she had made against fellow housemate Ryan Thomas.
In last night's live show, Roxanne spoke to Emma in a pre-recorded interview about the 'punchgate' scandal.
She said: "Watching the footage, it feels like a completely different scenario to how it felt at the time. How it felt when he did it, it hurt. I can't prove a feeling. I convinced myself he meant to do it, and when I watched it back I immediately realised... I'm more shocked at myself than anyone out there is."
Roxanne went on: "I feel devastated. It cripples me with embarrassment and shame that I could have put someone in that position. Seeing the footage of Ryan in the Diary Room distressed.
"I got it wrong. I can't apologise enough... all I can do is apologise and got it so wrong."
Today it's been revealed that Roxanne has left her radio show, stands to lose a lucrative panto contract and will NOT be back on Emmerdale.
A statement today from Minster FM, where Roxanne hosted a breakfast show, reads: "As a result of discussions today with her representatives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
"Roxanne will not be returning to Minster FM."
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Roxanne's currently booked panto gig for Christmas could be in jeopardy.
A spokesperson for Chesterfield council, who operate the theatre Roxanne is due to appear at, said: "We are aware of the public and media reaction to Roxanne Pallett's recent appearance on Big Brother.
"The council is currently in talks with Paul Holman Associates."
Finally, Emmerdale bosses have made it clear that Roxanne won't be back on their soap.
"There are no plans, nor have there been, to bring back the character of Jo Sugden," they said.
