Over 3,000 viewers have complained to TV watchdog Ofcom about Coleen Nolan and Kim Woodburn's Loose Women row.
The two TV stars were brought face to face on Loose Women yesterday (Wednesday) in a bid to end their 'feud'.
They previously clashed repeatedly last year when both took part in Celebrity Big Brother.
And there was no end to their bad blood this week, as instead their attempts to to sort out their differences ended in it all kicking off between the pair live on TV.
Kim ended up storming off the show, as viewers accused Coleen, sister Linda and their co-hosts of 'ganging up' on her.
The scenes have prompted a total of 3,297 complaints to TV watchdog Ofcom so far.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate."
In a statement, a rep for Kim said: "Kim was invited onto Loose Women as she was told Coleen wanted to hold peace talks with her. When she arrived this morning, Kim was briefed and told Coleen would speak first and give her reasons for their row. She was told Coleen wanted to bury the hatchet.
"However when Kim walked on set, Coleen refused to speak first and made Kim do all the talking. This incident has left Kim incredibly upset and she feels disappointed with what happened."
A spokesperson for Loose Women said yesterday: "Kim agreed to come onto the panel today at the invitation of the producers on the understanding it was for a reconciliation with Coleen.
"Kim becoming upset was never the intention and the panel did endeavour to comfort her. She was offered counselling after the show, which she declined."
In the aftermath, Kim called for Coleen to be sacked from the show.
However Coleen's son Shane defended his mum and tweeted: "Wait, wait a minute, what’s that sound , that’s the sound of my mum skipping down the halls of ITV because she hasn’t been sacked. U absolute morons 😂😂 that block button is absolutely brilliant."
He added: "There won’t be [an apology] I don’t think. She’s not on till Friday anyway. Kim being on was nothing to do with my mum. The only apology should come from the producers. Anyway I’m bored talking about the same thing. Night."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30PM on ITV.
