Celebrity Big Brother bosses are said to have been left 'devastated' after chaos involving Stormy Daniels.
American porn actress Stormy is currently at the centre of controversy surrounding president Donald Trump.
She had been heavily rumoured for the show and appeared on a leaked line up, but did not enter in Thursday's night's launch.
Big Brother has now revealed that Stormy left the series at the last minute.
They tweeted: "Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live, informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house as previously agreed.
"Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house. Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities."
Stormy is said to have been paid £750,000 to sign up, and much of the series was based around her.
"Bosses are truly devastated that Stormy has pulled out at the last minute," a source shared today.
They told The Sun newspaper: “Ever since the scandal broke between her and Trump they were desperate to sign her and couldn’t have been happier when she agreed – knowing it would make the series – so much so they decided to hook the whole series on her.
“The series was billed as being full of people ‘caught up in their own media storm’ and there is no one who has had a bigger storm than her this year thanks claiming to have slept with the US President."
It's understood bosses are looking to sign up new names for the series, which continues tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.
