Celebrity Big Brother 2018 is underway but how long does it last and when is the final?

The new series kicked off on Thursday, August 16 for potentially its last ever series.

As usual, the show will then continue nightly at 9PM on Channel 5 for around a month.

How long is Celebrity Big Brother on for?

The exact running time for Celebrity Big Brother this summer has now been confirmed as 26 days, one day longer than last summer.

The CBB 2018 final date has been revealed for Monday, September 10 on Channel 5.

It'll air in the one show between 9PM and 11:05PM with host Emma Willis.

Celebrity Big Brother's final will be followed days later by the start of the new series of Big Brother.

Delayed from the summer, the 'civilian' series will launch on Friday, September 14 and is scheduled to run for 53 days.

For now, Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.

A total of thirteen housemates have taken part in the series.

The cast is made up of former Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett, Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley, Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and headline grabbing footballer Jermaine Pennant.

Also in the house are model Chloe Ayling, The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne and Gabby Allen, a Love Islander from Season 3 in 2017.

Joining the line up next are Comic, Radio and TV presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli, Married At First Sight star Ben Jardine, Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves and TV psychic Sally Morgan.

Rounding off the celebrity contestants are American reality TV personality Natalie Nunn and finally rogue trader Nick Leeson.

So far there have been two evictions with Chloe and Natalie getting the boot, while Rodrigo was removed after one week.

Kirstie is the current favourite to win the series in September's final.

Alongside the main show, Rylan Clark-Neal hosts Bit On The Side nightly.
