There's apparently a behind the scenes 'crisis' on Celebrity Big Brother ahead of tonight's launch.
With just hours to go until the series kicks off, it's claimed that at least one celeb has still yet to commit.
It's said that the mystery male housemate is refusing to sign his contract, with bosses trying to persuade him to enter the house.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The bosses have been trying to sign this person up for a while but there have been issues along the way and their contract is still very much blank.
"There are lots of frantic phone calls and emails flying around in the office. It’s absolutely chaos there right now and they’re pulling out all the stops to get this person into the house."
The insider said that while the rest of the cast are currently in hiding, there remains "an empty hotel room still waiting to have someone check in."
A spokesperson for the show declined to comment on the report.
Although no names are officially confirmed on the line up yet, a leaked list of celebrity housemates has revealed who will likely to enter the house.
Alongside the mystery man still yet to sign up, celebrities tipped to join the series this week are headline grabbing footballer Jermaine Pennant, Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley, 'Human Ken Doll' Rodrigo Alves and American porn actress Stormy Daniels, who is currently at the centre of controversy surrounding president Donald Trump.
Joining them on the Celebrity Big Brother 2018 line up this summer are expected to be TOWIE's Dan Osborne, Love Island's Gabby Allen, Corrie's Ryan Thomas, Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet, television psychic Sally Morgan and American TV personality Natalie Nunn who is best known for starring in US series Bad Girls Club.
Further potential celebrity housemates are Married At First Sight star Ben Jardine, Kidnapped model Chloe Ayling and rogue trader Nick Leeson, who spent years in prison after bringing down Barings Bank in the 1990s.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 launches tonight (Thursday, August 16) on Channel 5 at 9PM.
