Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley has become the latest name rumoured for Celebrity Big Brother 2018.
Channel 5 confirmed the first details of the new series last month, announcing an 'Eye Of The Storm' theme.
They explained: "All of the celebrity names entering the house will have been caught up in their own media storm. And now, the celebrities are once again putting themselves in the public eye and this time they have a lot to prove."
Actress Kirstie is best known for her roles in films and TV including Star Trek and Cheers, winning both an Emmy and Golden Globe award.
More recently she took part in the US version of Strictly and appeared in American TV series Scream Queens.
“Kirstie is the biggest name to sign on the dotted line so far for this year’s show," a source told The Sun newspaper. “She’s a Hollywood legend and has plenty of juicy stories to tell.
"With the theme of retribution and stars talking about their own publicity storms – Kirstie couldn’t be better suited.”
According to the Daily Mail, Kirstie could be set to get £500,000 for the show.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 begins on Thursday, August 16 on Channel 5 at 9PM.
The show typically lasts just over a month, running through until the end of September.
Names linked to the Celebrity Big Brother 2018 cast already include headline grabbing footballer Jermaine Pennant and Kieran Hayler, the estranged husband of former Celebrity Big Brother winner herself Katie Price.
Another of the names rumoured is American porn actress Stormy Daniels, who is currently at the centre of controversy surrounding president Donald Trump.
More celebs tipped for the Celebrity Big Brother 2018 line up this summer include Love Island's Gabby Allen, X Factor and Ex On The Beach's Casey Johnson, TOWIE's Dan Osbourne, Corrie's Ryan Thomas and TV presenter John Leslie.
