Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has signed a record deal reportedly worth £1 million.
Amanda, who has appeared in London's West End in musicals such as Thoroughly Modern Millie, confirmed the news on her social media.
She shared a picture of herself signing a contract with Virgin EMI Records.
Amanda wrote: "Bloody thrilled to confirm I have signed an amazing record deal with @VIRGINEMI -It has been a lifetimes dream!!!!! Just cannot wait to get started ...."
According to The Sun newspaper, the deal is worth £1 million.
A source told the tabloid that Amanda spoke to BGT and X Factor boss Simon Cowell before putting pen to paper.
They revealed: "Simon was almost the first person Amanda spoke to. Amid all the excitement, she wanted an honest opinion from someone she trusts.
"He told her to absolutely go for it and said she has his full backing.”
Amanda's deal follows a video of her singing The Greatest Showman song Tightrope notching up 1.5 million hits online.
The clip was posted to celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary with her husband and featured the couple's two daughters.
On social media, Amanda's fellow BGT judge Alesha Dixon was quick to congratulate her on the news.
"That's my girl! 🙌🏽 Congrats honey! 😘" she wrote.
Fans were also quick to support Amanda.
"So proud of you Amanda!!!! Can’t wait to buy the album and hopefully get to see you on tour!!!" wrote one.
Another added: "Fantastic, you have an amazing voice x"
Amanda, Alesha, Simon and David Walliams will be back together soon for the new series Britain's Got Talent The Champions.
The special all stars competition will film later this month (July) and air on ITV later in the year.
