Fans are getting a second helping of BGT this year after boss Simon Cowell announced a new ‘all-stars’ series.

The Champions will see fan-favourite former contestants return for a second shot at winning the ITV variety contest.

They’ll also have to compete against some of the most successful acts from other global versions of Got Talent.

Dancers Stavros Flatley and Boogie Storm, dog act Ashleigh and Sully and vocal group Collabro are all rumoured to be back.

Now we have an idea of which comedians will be joining them on the bill.

According to the Daily Star, Jack Carroll, Daliso Chaponda and Lost Voice Guy have all signed up for the show.

Chiefs are apparently “thrilled” the trio are taking part, as they’re “really popular with viewers”.

“The great thing about these three acts is they’ve all gone on to big things and honed their talent,” an insider commented.

“They’ll all be even more polished when they return to the BGT stage.

“Producers are in the process of making sure there’s a wide range of acts to entertain viewers and make it an interesting competition.

“Getting three comedians on board is a big step towards completing the line-up.”

Jack finished as runner-up of BGT’s seventh series in 2012, before landing acting roles in Big School, Trollied and film Eaten By Lions. He has also performed on the BBC’s Live At The Apollo.

Daliso reached third place in 2017 after earning Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer. He has just announced new stand-up tour, Bah Bah Blacklist, while his Radio 4 show Citizen of Nowhere is getting a second series.

Lost Voice Guy, real name Lee Ridley, became the first funnyman ever to win BGT in 2018. He recently competed in a similar Champions edition of America’s Got Talent and published his debut book.

Meanwhile, an American comic has become the first international star linked to BGT’s new spin-off.

Vicki Barbolak, a finalist on AGT last year, claimed on her Twitter page that she’s coming to this side of the Atlantic.

“So excited and grateful to be jumping over the pond to compete in BGT The Champions!” she wrote.

“It’s my dream coming true to do Stand up in the UK!”

Bosses have yet to verify Vicki’s involvement. The only confirmed contestant so far is Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle.

BGT: The Champions will air on ITV later this year. Filming begins next month at Wembley Arena.
