Britain’s Got Talent 2019: Amanda Holden hits golden buzzer for boy band Chapter 13

​Chapter 13 won Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent 2019 tonight.

Amanda became the last to hit the golden buzzer this series, sending boy band Chapter 13 straight through to the live shows.

Auditions were back this evening on ITV with Amanda, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden on the judging panel with Ant and Dec backstage.

One of the acts auditioning were Chapter 13 made up of 14-year-old Jacob, 15-year-old Noah, 15-year-old Tom and 15-year-old Jake.

They introduced themselves: “We were all in School of Rock The Musical together. We always imagined what it’d be like to be in a band.”

For their audition, the four piece performed a medley of Stevie Wonder songs.

After the performance, all four judges were on their feet.

Amanda said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen four musicians so together.”

She then added as she hit the golden buzzer: “I think you are absolutely incredible and now you’ve just got to win the whole show.”

“Congratulations, I could not resist. You were absolutely fantastic,” Amanda told the boys on stage.

Alesha said: “The musicianship I just saw was outstanding. Your skill level is outstanding.”

“It was so refreshing that you were so brilliant,” added David.

And simon concluded: “This is so well deserved after what you just did. That was fantastic.”

With the golden buzzer, Chapter 13 go straight through to the live semi-finals later this year.

Other acts on this weekend’s show included 88-year-old singer Colin Thackery and mysterious magicians Brotherhood who shocked with a sword stunt.

Dust in the Wind, made up of a couple from Cuba, showcased their acrobatic dance routine before magician Ben Hart from London teleported an audience member as part of his audition.

Britain’s Got Talent 2019 returns next Saturday evening on ITV with more auditions.
