Britain’s Got Talent returned to ITV tonight with the latest round of auditions.

Another set of acts faced Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in a bid to make it into the next round.

One of those going before the panel was Jay Rawlings, who was hoping to impress by breaking a world record.

An official adjudicator announced: “This is an official Guinness World Records attempt for the most chairs balanced on the chin.”

Jay stepped up in a bid to balance eleven chairs on his chin.

“The chairs must remained balanced for a minimum of ten seconds without touching,” the official stated.

“Take your time guys,” advised David.

An enthusiastic Jay announced: “Let’s do this!”

The 25-year-old performer accomplished his feat, securing a new Guinness World Record.

And he also got four yeses through to the next round.

Another act auditioning this week is dance group Iconic whose energetic routine to some of history’s pop music greats gets the Judges boogying in their chairs.

We also meet singers 28-year-old Rob King from Manchester who performs a Eurovision classic and 23-year-old Mark McMullan from Northern Ireland who belts out an iconic part of the Les Misérables score.

Those that make it through will join last week’s successful acts which included a Swedish magician who performed the ‘world’s most dangerous card trick’.

We also met Matt Stirling, a 46 year old from Ruislip performed an impressive movie themed trick while 42-year-old policeman Dave was joined on stage by his dog Finn for their audition.

There was also rollerblading duo Rosie and Adam, Disney couple Katherine and Joe and 10-year-old singer Giorgia Borg from Malta who won a spot in the live shows after winning the latest golden buzzer of the series from Alesha Dixon.
