Comedian Kojo Anim is a favourite to win Britain's Got Talent 2019 as things stand.

Auditions for Britain's Got Talent continued on Saturday night with the second episode of the series.

Contestants we met in the latest instalment included so-called "extreme tambourinist" Gonzo and fellow musician Guy First who treated the judges to a rather unique and extraordinary talent.

12-year-old Kerr James took to the stage to sing Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding, wowing the judges with his voice and getting four yeses.

Mysterious act X spooked Ant and Dec as he got them involved in a mind reading magic trick while Sheila Simmonds, from Woolloomooloo, Australia, performed a catchy ditty for the judges but failed to impress Simon Cowell.

Jonathan Goodwin shocked as he escaped from a straightjacket while on fire before comic Kojo Anim won the golden buzzer from Simon Cowell.

Following the episode, Kojo's odds of winning cut to just 8/1 with bookies Ladbrokes. It's a price he now shares with fellow Golden Buzzer act Flakefleet Primary School Choir.

However, to date, no golden buzzer act has won the show - could that change this year?

Meanwhile singers Faith Tucker and Kerr James are next in the betting at 10/1 apiece.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Kojo did enough to impress the judges [Saturday] night and we've got a funny feeling he could go all the way this year."

Alongside the main show, Stephen Mulhern hosts More Talent on ITV2 straight after each episode.
