Father Ray Kelly is the current favourite to make the Britain's Got Talent 2018 final tonight.
The race for the Britain’s Got Talent title is heating up with just one more semi-final to go until all the finalists are known and yet another new favourite to win.
Once more, two acts will make it through tonight.
Father Ray Kelly, a 64-year-old singing priest from Co Meath, is making his bid to get through to the finals. BoyleSports think he has what it takes to win tonight’s fifth and final semi-final as they make him the firm 5/4 favourite.
Comedian and primary school teacher Micky P Kerr is Father Kelly’s nearest competition at 10/3 with comedic magician Mandy Mullen next at 11/2.
Meanwhile, Robert White is now the join-favourite to win.
The 41-year-old comedian, was a relative outsider at 33/1 at the beginning of the week, but after his semi-final romance that won over the audience and judges, punters attached his odds and backed him into 7/4.
Robert does have competition for favouritism however as Lost Voice Guy is also priced at 7/4, however this is a drift of his 11/8 odds following his Semi-Final 2 win on Tuesday, indicating, Robert may have the edge.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “For the first time in Britain’s Got Talent betting history we have two comedians head-to-head vying for the BGT title. A comedian has yet to win BGT, but with punters split between supporting Robert White and Lost Voice Guy, it looks like this is the year humour will conquer all.”
She added: “Father Ray Kelly looks set to be away from the parish for a bit longer as he heads the Semi-Final 5 betting as the clear 5/4 favourite to get through on the public vote. Irish punters have been rallying behind him and we have seen some interesting bets come in from his native county of Meath ahead of his performance tonight.”
