The Britain's Got Talent 2018 winner will walk away with a 'special prize', Simon Cowell has said.
After thousands applied and hundreds auditioned, the Britain's Got Talent search has now reached the live semi-finals which began tonight.
And in the first live show, Simon Cowell dropped a surprise.
He told host Dec: "This year the winner will get an extra surprise. The producers don't know about this, even ITV don't know. A big, big surprise. It's worth winning that's all I'll say."
After the final tonight, Simon was still keeping quiet.
"For certain reasons I cannot say yet but in the next few days I will," he told More Talent.
However, speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, an insider claimed that the winner will head to the US to perform on America's Got Talent's live shows.
An insider said: "Simon has been working behind the scenes to make this happen.
"He knows this will be a big deal for whichever act wins because it will give them a profile in America. They will effectively win the best prize in BGT history."
Alongside Simon's special surprise, the winner of Britain's Got Talent will also receive a life changing £250,000 and a spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.
The acts in the final are acrobats Giang Brothers and comedy singer Micky P Kerr, dancers DVJ, father and son singing duo Tim and Jack, comedian Robert White, singer Gruffydd Wyn Roberts, singer Donchez Dacres, singer Calum Courtney, comedian Lost Voice Guy and the D-Day Darlings in the final.
Joining them is the wild card act, the B-Positive Choir.
Britain's Got Talent 2018 final airs Sunday, June 3 at 7:30PM.
As well as the finalists' performance, the last live show of the series will also see some guest performances from The Cast Of Magic Mike from Las Vegas and the Cast Of Tina Turner The Musical
