There is a new favourite to win Britain's Got Talent 2018 after Saturday's show.
The latest instalment of Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend saw a host of talented hopefuls inserted into the betting, spitting out a new favourite to win.
The D-Day Darlings may have failed to get the Golden Buzzer, but their wartime choir rendition of Dame Vera Lynn’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’ had everyone reaching for the tissues and resulted in them shooting straight to the head of the betting as new 5/1 favourites.
Another act that made an impact was 23-year-old council worker Aleksandar Mileusnic who melted hearts with his dulcet swing version of ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes and went into the betting at 10/1.
This week’s Golden Buzzer came from David Walliams after singer Donchez Dacres won him over with his catchy song ‘Wiggle and Wine’ that had all of the judges, apart from Simon of course, up dancing. Despite going straight to the live shows, Donchez is a larger 20/1 shot to win.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented “The D-Day Darlings gave an emotional performance that honoured their grandfathers and great-grandfathers who fought in WWI and WWII.
"Amanda Holden said how the act was a perfect homage to those who fought in the wars and a perfect act for the Royal Variety Show in front of the Queen, making them the obvious new 5/1 favourites to go all the way and win.”
