Britain's Got Talent 2018 continued with fewer than 8 million viewers on ITV last night.

It was the most watched show on TV as Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all returned to the judges' desk.

Act in the latest episode included 'silent comic' Lost Voice Guy and a moving performance from dance group RISE.

The group performed a dance with wheelchairs to help one of the members, Hollie Booth, get back into dancing following injuries she sustained during the Manchester terror attack in 2017.

There was also comedy impressionist Andrew Lancaster and Singing Priest Father Ray Kelly

The second round of auditions were watched by an average audience of 7.8 million between 8PM and 9:25PM.

The episode, which peaked with 9 million viewers, was down 500,000 viewers on last weekend's episode and 1.4 million below 2017's equivalent instalment.

Meanwhile, over on ITV2, 700,000 tuned in for the first episode of Britain's Got More Talent with Stephen Mulhern.

Later on ITV and after Britain's Got Talent, Keith And Paddy's Picture Show does Grease interested 2.1 million - 1.2 below last Saturday.

Before BGT, Ninja Warrior UK continued its new series with 2.5 million (down 1.2 million) while 2.5 million (down 300,000) tuned in for Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule.

Over on BBC One, Pointless Celebrities continued with 3.8 million, up 200,000 viewers on last Saturday and the BBC's second most watched show of the night.

The Queen's Birthday Party ran between 8PM and 9:30PM, averaging 3.9 million across the evening.

Afterwards, a repeat of Mrs Brown's Boys averaged 3.8 million viewers.
