Britain's Got Talent POLL! Which act was the best this week? Vote here!

bgt poll week 1

Britain’s Got Talent 2018 started its first round of auditions on ITV tonight but which act was the best?

Tonight saaw a bumper opening episode on ITV from 8PM with a total of twelve acts going before the judges.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell return to the panel while Ant and Dec are back watching on from the sidelines.

As always, acts needed three or more yeses to get through to the next round, and potentially make the live shows.

This evening's opening episode saw a host of variety, starting with circus performer Sascha Williams who performed a Rola Bola acrobatic act to get four yeses.

Also going through as Robert White, a 41-year-old music teacher and comedian from West Sussex. Robert performs musical comedy, singing a song about the judges.

When it comes came to singing acts, a trio got past the judges with DMU Gospel Choir, the NHS Blood and Transplant's B-Positive Choir and 10-year-old Calum Courtney all getting yeses from the panel.

Slightly more bizarre contestants included Mr Uekusa, a Japanese comedian who performed table cloth tricks whilst naked - but he still made it through.

However duo Laura and Rich, who showcased some Live Action Role Play, didn't make the cut. Neither did farmer Julian Ellis, who recited a poem about the life of a dairy cow.

But mind reading magician Marc Spelmann went and got the very first golden buzzer of the series, securing a place in the live shows thanks to Ant and Dec.

Also making it through in the first week were dance group DVJ aka Diversity Junior, inventor Marty Putz and escapologist Matt Johnson.

Who was your favourite from this weekend's opening episode? Vote in our poll below...
