Britain’s Got Talent 2018 kicks off tonight on ITV and here’s a first look at all the auditions.
Tonight sees a bumper opening episode on ITV from 8PM with a total of twelve acts going before the judges.
Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell return to the panel while Ant and Dec are back watching on from the sidelines.
As always, acts need three or more yeses to get through although there's also the golden buzzer which will see five acts sent straight through to the live shows.
This evening's opening episode sees a host of variety, starting with circus performer Sascha Williams who performs a Rola Bola acrobatic act, and Robert White, a 41-year-old music teacher and comedian from West Sussex. Robert performs musical comedy, singing a song about the judges.
When it comes to the singing acts, there's talent from the DMU Gospel Choir, who sing a medley of “I Will Follow Him/ Oh Happy Day”, and the NHS Blood and Transplant's B-Positive Choir which sings Andra Day - “Rise Up”. We also meet Calum Courtney, a schoolboy from Essex who sings Michael Jackson’s “Who’s Lovin’ You”.
Slightly more bizarre contestants include Mr Uekusa, a Japanese comedian who performs table cloth tricks whilst naked, and duo Laura and Rich, who both perform Live Action Role Play.
There's also farmer Julian Ellis who recites a poem about the life of a dairy cow and mind reading magician Marc Spelmann
Rounding off the line up is Matt Johnson, who performs an escapology trick, whilst locked and chained inside a tank filled with water.
Britain’s Got Talent 2018 airs at 8PM tonight on ITV with the first auditions.
Straight after at 9:25PM you can tune in to Britain’s Got More Talent on ITV2 with Stephen Mulhern.
