Host of the new look Big Brother, Brian Dowling is looking sharp and stylish in these new pictures. The 33-year-old Irish telly host, who takes over from Davina when the reality series moves to Channel 5 later this year, said there would be little black in his wardrobe.Brian told TellyMix: "Obviously I love clothes; I did wear a bow tie and suit for the trailer… I think they’ll be a lot of colour. I see myself wearing sky blue or burgundy. That’ll be exciting, the opportunity to wear expensive clothes!"He added to us: "I think there’ll be an element of formal clothes, like the launches and finals, to go ‘the Dermot effect’ because he looks amazing on The X Factor."Take a look at the snaps below...

Hundreds of ex-housemates and some 500 extras took part in a new advert for Big Brother on Channel 5 last week, and here are some more pictures from the shoot! Everyone from former Celebrity Big Brother 'star' John McCririck to Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo turned up...Big Brother 1 winner Craig Phillips, Big Brother 8 twins Samanda, Big Brother 7 champ Pete Bennett and Ultimate Big Brother star Josie Gibson were among those at the shoot. Celebrity Big brother star Alex Reid, Irrepressible Dark Horse Marcus Akin and Big Brother 8 twins Samanda also feature.Big Brother babes Saskia Howard Clarke and Makosi Musambasi were also at the filming, which featured a full brass band.The ad will see the housemates celebrate Big Brothers return as they run through the streets singing 'When Bruv Takes Over' (a spin on Kelly Rowland's hit 'When Love Takes Over'). Full of colour, the ad is in stark contrast to last year's funeral advert to park what was meant to be the end of the series on Channel 4.The ad, a celebration of the resurrection of the reality series on Channel 5 after its axe by Channel 4 last year, will premiere in the next few days.

With Channel 5 releasing the new Big Brother 2011 eye last night, we decided to take a look back at the other brilliant and, er, less brilliant designs over the past decade. Since series two, each year the of the hit reality show has been associated with a unique eye design.From hypnotism to fingerprints, shattered glass to split personalities, a number of concepts have been explored in the designs over the years and Channel 5 has continued that with its new "straight talking eye".Jeff Ford, Channel 5, Director of Programmes said this about the new design: "The new branding really jumps off the page for us and something that I think symbolises Channel 5’s values: straight-talking, direct and not afraid to be different.“I am really proud of the work the creative team have done to develop the branding for the show, which will set the tone for the whole series.”Take a look at the eyes over the years below...

The X Factor 2011 spent two days in the fantastic city of Liverpool last week, visiting the Echo Arena for the first time in the show's history. Following the success of Britain's Got Talent at the venue back in January, X Factor bosses followed the sister show to the Mersey in the hunt for talent.New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos spent the first day in the city celebrating her 23rd birthday, with a hunky butler on hand to carry out her every whim, while Kelly Rowland seemed to be loving the local accent.Check out some pictures from the two day stay below and be sure to tune in to The X Factor next month when it returns to ITV1.

It's the penultimate episode of The Apprentice 2011 before the Sunday's final tonight, ad the last five candidates are called to the City to be briefed by Lord Sugar. This week’s task is to set up a fast food chain restaurant in the heart of London - with the boss expecting “a proper fast food experience.”The teams have just 48 hours to bring a new and original brand to the fast food market; create the dishes, fit out an empty space and serve the food themselves to the paying public, before Lord Sugar and a group of industry experts drop in for a bite to eat.There’s no movement on the teams as Helen and Tom remain on Logic whilst Natasha, Jim and Susan make up Venture.Check out a few preview pictures below and tune into The Apprentice from 9PM on BBC One tonight...

The X Factor 2011 auditions concluded their three day stay in the nation's capital yesterday, with new judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland all joining Louis for the final show at the O2 Arena. With the panel moving onto their final show in Liverpool, we take a look at the show's stay in London.

Pictures: Ant and Dec film Red or Black? with Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood!

Golf superstars Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood spent the day with telly presenting duo Ant and Dec yesterday for the latest round of filming for Red or Black. Following the challenge at Wembley last week, the remaining contestants were asked to place bets on the golfers' skills...

Hopefuls had to predict which golfer, one in black and one in red, would be able to hit a gong over 100 yards away in the middle of a lake at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.

Dec told The Sun: "It was great watching the US Open on TV, but nothing compared to the drama of seeing these two golfing greats knocking balls at the Red or Black gong."

Ant added: "We got to meet two of our golfing heroes."

Pictures: Alexandra Burke 'surprises' shoppers in London's Westfield shopping centre

This is the moment X Factor winner Alexandra Burke 'surprised' shoppers by making an impromptu live performance in the middle of London's Westfield shopping centre. We say surprised, however given all of the equipment including speakers, posters and barriers we find it hard to believe anyone was too taken aback by the appearance...

Alex performed her top hit 'Bad Boys' for a her latest television advert for woman's deodorant Sure.

“Today has been amazing!" Alex said. "The crowd was fantastic, and after their initial surprise they all really got moving. The best thing was everyone got their jingle bells shaking to the music too.”

Natalie, 21, North London, was in the audience: “Alexandra Burke was brilliant! I’ve been texting all my friends to tell them what just happened, and they’re so jealous they missed it. I still can’t believe it!”
