The Voice UK 2019: The best blind auditions from week three

the voice uk 2019 week 3 top auditions

It was the third week of The Voice UK 2019 last weekend an here are the best blind auditions from Saturday.

As always, the first stage of the series were the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.

If the coaches like what they hear, they hit their button to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten. If more than one spins then it's up the act to pick which team to join.

Based on online hits and shares over the past few days, we've ranked the most popular performances from the third round of blind auditions.

Here's our countdown...

Sarah Tucker

34-year-old Sarah Tucker from Essex performed ‘In My Blood’ by Shawn Mendes. All four coaches turned for her incredible performance which has topped his week's rankings. Mum of two Sarah eventually chose to join Team JHud.

Nxt Gen

Nxt Gen, a trio made up of Cian, Sonny and Joel, all aged 21, sang ‘Cry Me a River’ by Justin Timberlake. The trio had previously appeared on The X Factor as part of Yes Lad. Hoping to prove they weren't a 'typical boyband', their vocals persuaded Will and Olly to both turn and they picked Team Will to join.

Luke Swatman

Luke Swatman, a 35-year-old Road Traffic Management Controller from Worcester opened the blind auditions on Saturday night. He performed ‘Il Mare Calmo Della Sera’ by Andrea Bocelli to the backs of the coaches. His big voice got both Olly and JHud to turn, picking Team JHud to join.

Jimmy Balito

Jimmy Balito, aged 23 from Sussex, sang ‘Higher Love’ by Steve Winwood. Jimmy had previously auditioned last year but got no turns. This time around, he got both JHud and Sir Tom to spin and Jimmy chose to join Team Tom.
