The Voice Kids 2018 UK winner was crowned in Saturday’s live final results.

Daniel from Team Pixie was voted for by the public as the second winner of The Voice Kids UK yesterday evening on ITV.

The 13-year-old from South Wales topped the viewer vote after the final six contestants performed last nightt LIVE for the first time in the series.

As The Voice UK Kids 2018 winner, Daniel walks away with £30,000 prize towards his musical career and a VIP family trip to Disneyland Paris.

And in an extra twist, it was revealed that all of the finalists and their families will also enjoy a trip to Disneyland Paris.

It was a second win for Pixie Lott, who also won last year’s series with Jess Folley.

Coaches Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and Will.i.am and started the series last Saturday night with the blind auditions.

Presented by Emma Willis, the new series was open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

After building their teams of twelve, the coaches took their acts through to the battles where twelve singers made it through.

The semi-finals saw the teams cut in half with the coaches picking just two of their four acts to progress into the live final on Saturday.

This evening the final six each performed one song live before viewers vote for their favourite to determine the winner.

Those competing in the final were, for Team Pixie, 10-year-old Lilia and 13-year-old Daniel from South Wales. In Team Danny are 14-year-old Drew from Bolton and 14-year-old Harry.

And finally in Team Will are 14-year-old Sienna-Leigh and 11-year-old Yaroslav from London

As well as the solo performances from the finalists, this evening also saw a special group performance from the coaches with their teams.

And alongside the performances from the contestants and coaches, there were guest appearances from Kylie Minogue plus Donel, Team Will finalist from The Voice UK earlier this year, who performed his new single Bang Like A Drum

The Voice UK airs on ITV.

Both the main series and the Kids spin-off will return for new runs in 2019.

To apply for The Voice Kids’ next season, you need be between 7 and 14. More specifically, you need to be under 15 by by 30th April 2019 and over seven by 1 December 2018.

Meanwhile, applications are also open for the 2019 series of the main show.

Soloists, duos and trios aged over 16 by 1 October 2018 can apply here. Applications close on 31 July 2018.
