The Voice UK 2018 finalists: Who’s in the live shows REVEALED

Who’s in the The Voice UK 2018 live shows? The finalists have been revealed after contestants faced the semi-final..

Last month saw the four coaches complete their four teams with Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson having each picked ten talented artists.

The battles then took place as the coaches cut their teams in half with a series of head to head musical duets that only one act could win.

However the steals were back, giving each coach the ability to pick up an extra acts that their rivals sent home, pinching them for their own teams in the knockouts.

In the knockouts the then remaining six acts in each team became two for the live shows.

This weekend saw the live semi-final where the public got their say for the first time this series. After all eight acts performed live, viewers voted for their favourite.

The four acts with the fewest votes went home while those with the most went into next weekend’s grand final.

Team Tom

Ruti Olajugbagbe
18-year-old student Ruti Olajugbagbe from Essex performed Budapest by George Ezra in the auditions.

Lucy Milburn ELIMINATED
20-year-old Lucy Milburn from Sheffield belted out Amber Riley’s Colorblind at her blind audition. She was eliminated in the semi-final.

Team Will

Donel Mangena
16-year-old student Donel from Southampton performed Cold Water by Major Lazer and Justin Bieber at the blind auditions.

Tai
18-year-old Tai, a Music Student from Stevenage. She performed the Curtis Mayfield cover of Move On Up by Lion Babe Bersion at the auditions. Tai went out in the semi-final.

Team Jennifer

Belle Voci
Belle Voci are a duo made up of friends 26-year-old Sophie from Norwich and 25-year-old Emily from Mayfair. The pair performed Delibes’ Flower Duet in the auditions.

Gayatri Nair
16-year-old music student Gayatri Nair from Peckham, London wowed in the blind auditions with Powerful by The Cast of Empire. She was eliminated in the semi-final.

Team Olly

Lauren Bannon
27-year-old student Lauren from Weymouth performed Major Lazer’s Lean On at her audition. Olly chose her as his first semi-finalist.

Jamie Grey
29-year-old musician Jamie Grey from Redcar returned to The Voice UK this year after getting no turns last year. For his blind audition, the musician sang Andra Day’s Rise Up. He was eliminated in the semi-final.

So that’s how the teams look… FOR NOW.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday on ITV with the grand live final show as the top four acts sing live for one last time.

Viewers will then vote for their favourite before the winner is crowned.
