Donel Mangena and Rhianna Abrey gave the best battle of the night on The Voice UK this weekend.
The Voice coaches Olly Murs, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Jennifer Hudson were back on TV Saturday evening for the start of the battles.
The coaches had a change of clothes, ready for the next stage of the competition.
After seven weeks of blind auditions, the successful acts faced a brand new challenge.
The battle rounds kicked off as Donel Mangena and Rhianna Abrey sung off.
The Team Will singers performed Rain by The Script and their duet proved a huge hit.
So much so that BOTH went through.
Will.i.am kept Donel while both Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones bid to steal Rhianna. Olly Murs had already used his steal at this point.
With Jennifer and Sir Tom to pick from, Rhianna chose to swap to Team JHUD, seeing her through to the knockouts alongside Donel.
The Voice UK battles continue next Saturday night. Each of the coaches will partner up the contestants in their teams in a series of head to head musical sing-offs.
Both acts will share a song but only one of them will be named the winner.
After each performance, all four coaches will comment and offer up their view on who won.
But it'll be the pair's mentor alone who has the power to pick one winner and potentially send the other home.
The loser's only chance to stay in the competition comes from the other coaches.
Once again The Voice UK sees the return of the steals, allowing each coach to take an extra act through that their rivals reject for their own team.
After the first show, only Sir Tom and Will.i.am have the ability to steal an act.
The Voice UK continues Saturday nights on ITV.
