The Voice UK 2018 contestants: Favourites revealed after final blind auditions

Donel Mangena performs.

There is still a clear favourite to win The Voice UK 2018.

Donel Mangena is the one to beat, after originally wowing the coaches last month in the blind auditions.

16-year-old student Donel from Southampton performed Cold Water by Major Lazer and Justin Bieber.

And he got all four of the coaches turning - and his gran up on stage dancing.

Will.i.am was first to hit his buzzer followed by Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson and finally Sir Tom Jones. There was then an epic pitching battle as all four coaches competed to get Donel on their team - with Will winning.

Now all seven rounds of blind auditions have wrapped up, Donel remains the favourite to win the series.

The singing sensation is the most popular pick with punters and has headed the market since his first audition was aired.

Currently a 3/1 shot to be crowned this year's champion, Donel's only competition at this point looks to be Simon Davies (6/1) and Lucy Milburn (7/1), with no other act priced shorter than 12/1 to go all the way.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "This is a first as far as betting on The Voice goes; usually the head of the market is a lot closer but punters clearly think Donel is a shoo-in for the crown and it's hard to see a way past him at this stage."

Of course, the blind auditions were only the first stage with the battle rounds, knockouts and the live shows still to follow.

Ultimately, viewers will name the winner of The Voice UK later this year.
