Bailey Nelson was a stand out on The Voice UK 2018 at the weekend.
Once more on Saturday night, a selection of singing hopefuls performed on The Voice UK stage for what were the penultimate auditions.
One of those we met was is 18-year-old Bailey Nelson from Plymouth.
The singer performed Shawn Mendes hit There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back in a bid to get a spin.
It was a nervous wait for Bailey but Olly Murs hit his back at the last possible moment.
"I was a bit 50/50 only because I felt you sang it like Shawn Mendes, I think I need to coach you out of you but I'm so glad I turned around because you sound great," Olly told Bailey.
Jennifer Hudson added: "You look really cool, I love your voice and I've no doubt you're going to sell out those arenas."
"When you and Olly get together, it's going to be spectacular," added Will.i.am.
It's week 6 of the singing contest at the weekend, as the four coaches continue to build up their teams.
Newbie Olly Murs joins Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson on this year's panel, who are on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer.
Once again, this year’s winner will scoop a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.
The first stage as always is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.
If any of them like what they hear, they hit their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten.
Other acts performing on Saturday included Tesni Jones, a 32 year old full time mum from Chatham who sang AC DC's Highway To Hell.
Plus, Olly's mum joined the panel and got a cheeky kiss from Sir Tom!
The Voice UK 2018 continues next Saturday night on ITV with the final round of auditions.
