Strictly Come Dancing stars Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice are said to have clashed backstage ahead of Saturday's final.
Steps star Faye and pro partner Giovanni are one of four couples left in the running for the Glitterball trophy this year.
But ahead of the weekend's live show, there are claims tensions are rising between the pair backstage.
Sources have alleged their working relationship has become "incredibly volatile" behind the scenes as they practice three routines.
"Faye and Giovanni have been struggling with the pressure and have both been ranting behind each other’s back," claimed a source to The Sun newspaper.
They shared: "Giovanni is fiercely competitive and wants to win, but he knows they don’t have a hope in hell, as Stacey and Joe are both so popular with fans, Faye is sensitive, and after weeks of relentless training, she is feeling quite emotional.
"They’re hoping they can put on a brave face for the final, but behind the scenes it’s incredibly volatile."
Alongside Faye and Giovanni, those in the Strictly Come Dancing final are Ashley Roberts & Pasha Kovalev, Stacey Dooley & Kevin Clifton and Joe Sugg & Dianne Buswell.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the Strictly Come Dancing Final live on BBC One this Saturday night.
Each couple will perform two classic routines from the past 15 weeks - one chosen by the judges and the other is the picked by the couple themselves.
All four will also perform their own unique show dance in a bid to be crowned the Strictly champions.
Judges Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel-Horwood will mark the routines but it'll be viewer votes alone that determine the winner.
Stacey finds herself chalked up as the red hot favourite to win the series, with Joe next in the betting odds.
Strictly Come Dancing 2018's final airs Saturday 15 December at 6.30pm-9.00pm on BBC One.
