Kevin Clifton is said to be considering quitting Strictly Come Dancing after the current series.
Kevin, currently dancing with celeb partner Stacey Dooley, has been a professional dancer on the show since 2013.
But 'insiders' claim 2018 could be Kevin's last year on the show, even if he and Stacey lift the glitterball next weekend.
They cite a desire for him to "move on" and alleged tensions with former partner and fellow pro dancer Karen Clifton.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kevin has been overheard backstage saying he feels the time is right for him to move on and that winning the contest won’t weigh heavily on his decision.
“He has absolutely loved his time on the show and the opportunities that it’s given him but he is getting itchy feet and there’s still tension with Karen. While things are slowly getting more civil between them, it’s not exactly fun spending time around your ex.”
A spokesperson for Kevin told the tabloid he was committed to the show, while Kevin himself took to Twitter to laugh off the rumours.
Asked if he was leaving the show, Kevin quipped: "Not as far as I'm aware🤔😂"
For now, Strictly Come Dancing is back tonight on BBC One with its semi-final results show.
The current favourites to win, Stacey and Kevin started with a storming Charleston that scored a near perfect 39 points. However their Viennese Waltz didn't get quite the same glowing reception, with a total of 36 points.
It left the pair in the middle of the leaderboard but bookies are sure they'll survive another week to make it into the final.
Find out who goes in the latest Strictly results show this evening, Sunday 9 December at 7.15pm on BBC One.
