There's more bad news for Strictly's Ashley Roberts this weekend as she's tipped to end up in the dance off for a third week.

And this time, she may not make it through to dance again.

Despite once being the favourite to win - and repeatedly topping the scores - Ashley has found herself having to fight for her place in the competition.

It now appears that fans are ready to say goodbye to the former Pussycat Doll as record amount of bets have forced UK bookies to slash the odds on Roberts dancing her last dance this weekend, according to bookmakers.tv.

The website reports that it's the first time in Strictly Come Dancing history that a bookies favourite (pre-show) have become the public’s least favourite contestant.

They report that 91 percent of bets are on Ashley to be the next celebrity to leave the show, amid claims of unfairness about her past dance experience. Never before in Strictly history have so many bets come in on one and the same contestant to be voted out, adds the betting site.

In total, £110,000 has been wagered on Ashley to be the next to leave the show in this weekend's semi-final.

Alex Kostin of bookmakers.tv: “According to our findings, the big scorers aren’t necessarily the couple who may end up lifting the glitter ball.

"It’s important to appreciate that although the judges have their say, it is a popularity contest and it’s the people that decide the winner.”

“Although Ashley is pushing on week on week, it is Stacey and Joe who clearly have won over the public, which has been well documented across the media this week.”

Strictly Come Dancing's live shows continue this Saturday night on BBC One from 6:35PM.

This week is the semi-finals where the final five will all dance twice for the first time this series.

The results show airs on Sunday night from 7:20PM, featuring a guest performance from Little Mix.

The Strictly Come Dancing final airs on Saturday 15th of December.
