Here's a look backstage on Strictly Come Dancing 2018's Blackpool weekend of live shows.

From the time spent getting Strictly-fied in make up and wardrobe to those last minute nerves, cameras captured everything.

EVERYTHING!

In this latest behind the scenes video thanks to It Takes Two, we see the celebrities arriving at the iconic Tower Ballroom before getting into costume for their latest routines.

And the dreaded next elimination of the series.

But what we don't see is the rumoured raucous after party that apparently upset the locals.

“It was carnage. They really hit it hard and obviously had an amazing night - but people nearby were livid," a source told The Sun newspaper. “The Strictly lot were shouting and hollering in the smoking area.

“And with the booming music locals were less than impressed.”

At the weekend Strictly Come Dancing continued as the celebrity dancers and their professional partners showcased their latest routines.

The then eight couples each took to the dancefloor to impress the viewers at home - as well as the line up of judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, and Craig Revel Horwood in the studio.

Come the end of the night, Ashley Roberts held the top spot, with a near perfect 40 points.

Graeme Swann and Kate Silverton found themselves in the dance-off where it was Kate that went home.

Kate said after her exit: “Can I say a few thanks? There are so many people behind the scenes that as a viewer you don’t get to realise just what it takes to put this programme on air. You guys as professionals work really really hard but it’s everybody behind the scenes as well; the runners, the production crew, the hair, wardrobe and makeup. So a big thank you to all of them.”

“And if I can just do a thank you to this one (Aljaz) because I am so lucky to have had you as my teacher. And as you said we’ve learnt so much from each other, we’ve become such good friends and you have just made this the most incredible experience. We’ve had so much fun, we’ve worked hard but just thank you.”

The remaining seven couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 24th November at 6.50pm, with the results show on Sunday 25th November at 7.20pm on BBC One.
