Amy was reportedly left in tears after an argument with celeb partner Danny.

It’s claimed she phoned produces who have allegedly issued Danny a ‘final warning’ following the incident.

“Amy’s call sparked a sense of panic, not least when she said she couldn’t be paired with him any more,” a source shared with the Daily Mirror newspaper. “The two of them have had several cross words and arguments throughout the series. But this was the biggest row yet.

“Danny is knackered with all the training and he lost his cool. Amy took it really badly.”

Another Strictly source said that the pair have since made up and are keen to put the clash in the behind them.

“Danny is a perfectionist who strives to make each dance better and better. It’s very common for things to get heated during training,” the insider said.

A spokesperson for the show declined to comment but a show source added: “It’s been a tough week for Danny and Amy but they’re back in rehearsals and looking forward to Saturday night’s show.”

Appearing on It Takes Two, Amy admitted: “Things did get a little bit intense the other day in rehearsals. Do you know what? We took a half-hour break and then got straight to it. I never felt threatened or bullied by Danny.

“I really want to get this man to Blackpool and then to the finals.”

Danny added: “The only reason I’m here this far is because of Amy. I would never bite the hand that feeds me. I am more than happy.

“It’s probably the best dancing we’ve done, the last couple days, since I’ve been on the show. I’m just happy to go along. She’s the boss. She wears the pants. Why would I argue with a Welsh woman?”

This evening, Danny and Amy will be dancing the Samba to Feels Like Home by Sigala, Fuse ODG, Sean Paul, Kent Jones.

The pair will be hoping to score better marks then last Saturday where they found themselves bottom of the scoreboard after dancing the Quickstep to Freedom by Pharrell Williams
