At the weekend the 11 remaining celebrity and pro couples all danced live one more time before the judges scored and viewers voted. In the dance off, Graeme Swann and Seann Walsh had to dance again and it was Seann who left in this week’s Strictly Come Dancing results.

It was a unanimous decision from the judges who all voted to save Graeme, sending Seann home after a second time in the dance off.

After the result, Seann and pro partner Katya Jones took to Twitter to react to their exit.

Katya tweeted: “Thank you so so much to everyone who had our support through out this journey! we’re gutted not to be able to do more fun routines for you! But I hope we entertained! @seannwalsh please don’t keep dancing ??? stick to what you’re good at!”

Seann said: “Thanks everyone. And thank you to @Mrs_katjones for managing to keep in a man that dances like a shed in the wind for this long. I’ll see you all soon. Keeeeeeep laughing. X”

For the most part, viewers seemed to agree with the decision in the wake of Seann’s recent kiss controversy with pro dancer Katya.

“The right couple left,” simply tweeted one Strictly fan with another agreeing: “It’s about time, they were the weakest couple.”

A third added: “Right decision tonight … still think he should’ve gone last week though!”

Others lamented the loss of Katya’s choreography.

“Enjoyed the routines, will miss Katya as she always brings something different and brilliant ❤️,” tweeted one viewer.

“Saturday nights have just lost some of their magic without Katya’s brilliant choreography,” another added.

Meanwhile, sources have claimed that Seann was left very upset by his exit while recording the results show at the weekend.

“To say Seann was upset was an understatement. As soon as filming finished he walked off and swore,” an insider alleged to The Sun newspaper.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 will return next Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One with its latest live show.
