Claims that Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones and Seann Walsh are quitting the show have been denied.
Comedian Seann and pro partner Katya became the focus of attention over the weekend, for all the wrong reasons.
The pair - who are both in relationships - were snapped seemingly kissing in photos published in The Sun newspaper.
An onlooker told the tabloid: "They were snogging like a pair of teenagers and didn’t seem to care who might see them.”
Katya is married to fellow Strictly pro dancer Neil Jones while Seann is currently in a relationship with his girlfriend Rebecca.
The pair both issued statements on Twitter to say sorry for the photos.
Katya wrote: “I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I have caused with my actions. I wasn’t thinking and it was a one off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship.”
Seann added: "In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for.”
The incident led to claims that the pair may end up walking off the show - with bookies Ladbrokes offering odds of 2/1 that Seann quit the show.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Seann's more likely to walk than he is to win right now, and it looks like the Strictly curse has hit early this year."
However Strictly sources say it'll be business as usual inside the ballroom on Saturday night.
"No one is pulling out of the show. It is business as usual for all of the Strictly parties involved," a source told the Daily Mail newspaper. "The dance couple Seann and Katya have already apologised publicly."
The source added: "They will be carrying on as normal this week, where the only time they’ll be adding to that will be on the BBC’s Strictly show It Takes Two. And that will take place later this week on a date yet to be confirmed.
"But that will be it in terms of anyone on the show speaking out. There are no meetings with bosses scheduled in light of what’s happened over the weekend. All the bosses were around and discussed everything in full when the story first broke on Saturday night."
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
