Who's on the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line up? Here's a latest look at the rumoured celebrity contestants.

With Strictly's 2018 series on its way there has been lots of speculation over who will be on the cast of celebrities.

A number of all star contestants have been tipped for Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 from Olympians to comics.

Of course whether or not we'll actually see any of them in the ballroom come the launch show in September remains to be seen for a while yet.

For now, here's a run down of the early Strictly Come Dancing 2018 rumoured line up...

Strictly bosses are said to be desperate to sign a Spice Girl for this year's series. Mel B is the favourite to say yes, according to reports. A source spilled: "Having a Spice Girl on this year's show would be a huge coup for the show's bosses."

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly "desperate" to sign X Factor star turned TV host Rylan Clark-Neal. "Rylan is charismatic and popular, and the bosses are sure he would be a huge hit on the show," a source told The Sun. “He is definitely one of their targets for 2018.”

Mark Labbett
The Chase's Mark Labbett has been tipped to take part in Strictly Come Dancing. The quizzer - nicknamed The Beast - is reportedly in talks to join this year's line up. "Mark has become one of the best-known personalities on TV so he has come on to Strictly’s radar," a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper.

Maya Jama
Radio and TV host Maya Jama has been tipped for this year's cast. In a recent interview, Maya did little to deny the rumours. She told the Metro newspaper: "Oh I don’t know if I can talk about it!"

Courtney Act
Courtney Act has revealed hopes of taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. The Aussie drag star - aka Shane Jenek - won Celebrity Big Brother 2018 earlier this year, Courtney is now eyeing up for another appearance on UK telly, hoping to become the first drag act to compete in Strictly.

Actress Chelsea Halfpenny is being predicted for the Strictly Come Dancing line up. Chelsea is the niece of Jill Halfpenny, who herself competed on Strictly in the second series and won the show. 26-year-old Chelsea is best known for her roles in ITV soap Emmerdale and BBC One's Casualty.

Joe McElderry
Former X Factor winner Joe McElderry says he's up for taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. The singer has been repeatedly linked and rumoured to the BBC One series and he's now said it would be something he'd love to do.

Anneka Rice
Could TV personality Anneka Rice be on Strictly Come Dancing 2018? Anneka is best known for her work on Channel 4's Treasure Hunt and Challenge Anneka, which aired both on BBC One and ITV. The 59-year-old has also appeared on shows including Hell's Kitchen and Celebrity Mastermind.

Chris Kamara
Sky Sports pundit and Ninja Warrior UK host Chris Kamara could take to the dancefloor this year. Producers have apparently approached the ex-footballer after they were impressed with his moves in the recent Sport Relief 'World In Motion' dance-off.

Rachel Shenton
Hollyoaks star turned Oscar winner Rachel Shenton has been tipped for Strictly Come Dancing. Rachel made a name for herself as Mitzeee Minniver on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks between 2010 and 2013. Earlier this year she picked up the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for The Silent Child.

David James
Footballer David James has been rumoured for the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line up. The ex-England keeper is said to be on a wish list of celebs for this year's series. The now football coach is supposedly "interested" in an offer from show bosses.

Love Island's Chris Hughes wants to do Strictly in 2018. “I would love to do Strictly, I love the show,” he said. “I'm not a great dancer, but that is what you train."

Brooke Vincent
Brooke Vincent is already eyeing up another TV challenge. The Dancing On Ice finalist wants to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, and reckons it'd be a lot easier. “I’d love to do Strictly, it’s a lovely show," Brooke told The Sun this week.

Nadiya Hussein won the 2015 Great British Bake Off winner has said she's a huge fan of the show. Rumour has it she's been offered to swap her apron for some sequins this year.

Frank Bruno
Boxing legend Frank Bruno says he is up for competing in Strictly Come Dancing. He said: “I would love to do Strictly. I’d like to do a bit where I breakdance on my own.”

Who's NOT on Strictly Come Dancing...

Some celebs have made it clear they will NOT be a part of the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 cast.

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell said: "Strictly looks like too much hard work learning all those dance routines. I’m not a trained dancer so when I was with the girls it always used to take me about four hours longer than everyone else to learn a dance routine.

"It does look like so much fun and I love the show, but too much hard work!

Meanwhile, Eamonn Holmes says there is NO WAY he is following Ruth Langsford onto Strictly Come Dancing.

Ruth appeared on the BBC One competition last year, but her husband and TV co-host Eamonn has no plans to take to the dancefloor next.

He said: “I’d rather let you pull my teeth out with pliers than do Strictly. It’s not the hips, it’s everything. F****** hell."
