Strictly Come Dancing’s Debbie McGee ‘in tears backstage after tough week’

There have reportedly been tears from Debbie McGee backstage on Strictly Come Dancing this week.

The pressure is on for the remaining five celebs with just four spots available in next week’s final.

And following a series of shock bottom two dance offs, no one is safe from the axe.

One of the favourites to win, Debbie is said to have had a particularly tough week, juggling Strictly training with rehearsals for her Beauty and The Beast panto.

“It’s been Debbie and Giovanni’s toughest week. It all got a bit much. There have been tears,” a source spilled this weekend.

They told The Sun newspaper: “Debbie has had to combine full days of Beauty with intense dance rehearsals in the evening.

“Gio has been pushing her to make sure her performance is the best it can be on Saturday.

“With this being the week before the final, the pressure is well and truly on.”

The insider added that Debbie was “absolutely exhausted” with the celebs dancing twice live on BBC One tonight.

Davood Ghadami and Nadiya Bychkova were the unlucky couple to leave last weekend and another celebrity will be heading home in Sunday night’s results show.

As always judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood marked each of the performances out of 40 as the competition got ever closer to the grand final.

The judges’ scores will then be combined with the results of the latest public vote to help determine the bottom two dancers for Sunday’s results.

Those two celebrity couples will have to dance again for the judges in Sunday night’s results show at 7:15PM on BBC One where one of them will be eliminated.
