Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara were the unlucky couple to leave last weekend and another celebrity will be heading home in Sunday night’s results show.
It was a truly shock result and confirms that just no one is safe.
This Saturday night saw all nine of the remaining couples performing live one more with a brand new dance for all of them.
It was Week 8 of the show and the pressure was on with this year’s Blackpool special now only one week away.
As always judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood marked all of the performances out of 40 as the competition heated up.
At the end of the night, Alexandra Burke and Davood Ghadami shared the top spot with 38 points each.
At the bottom for a second week running was Ruth Langsford, scoring 18 points after dancing the Foxtrot.
Now the judges’ scores from last night’s dances will now be combined with the results of the latest public vote to help determine the bottom two dancers.
Those two celebrity couples will have to dance again for the judges in Sunday night’s results show tonight at 7:15PM on BBC One where one of them will be eliminated.
