It’s week eight of the competition and nine celebs remain dancing.

But one will go out this week and it’s arguably the worst time to leave, just before the Blackpool special.

The eight celeb and pro couples who make it through this weekend will go on to perform at the iconic Tower Ballroom next Saturday night.

As for how the latest dances are going, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, as these training videos show.

Alexandra and Gorka have the first ever Argentine Tango of Strictly 2017, dancing to Mi Confession by Gotan Project.

Current favourites to win, Debbie and Giovanni will be dancing a Salsa to I Can’t Take My Owns Off Of You by Boys Town Gang.

And Gemma and Aljaz will be performing the Viennese Waltz to You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me by Brenda Lee.

After two weeks in the dance off, Mollie and AJ will be hoping to bounce back with a Paso to Layla by Derek and the Dominoes.

Aston Merrygold’s shock exit last Sunday proved no one is safe and so the celebs will need to go all out to impress the judges and viewers alike.

Susan and Kevin will Tango to Firework by Katy Perry while Davood and Nadiya will dance the Charleston to The Lambeth Walk by The Pasadena Roof Orchestra.

Joe and Katya have a Rumba to One by U2 and Mary J. Blige while Jonnie and Oti are rehearsing a Foxtrot to Someone Like You by Adele.

Finally, following THAT Paso last week, Ruth and Anton this weekend will be dancing the Foxtrot to Mack The Knife by Bobby Darin in a bid to make Blackpool.
